I'm a Seed Not a Weed: Extended Version
1-3 Clock Hours
Many times we unintentionally promote negative behavior and demote positive behavior. These musical
presentations will allow listeners to self-evaluate their styles of discipline and communication in the class room
and home. Together we will see how words should build and not destroy. We will also engage in techniques
that will enable the child and teacher to respectfully work things out together. Songs and tools are introduced
that encourage children to problem-solve, build character and promote smoother transitions. Are you a seed
or a weed?
Blooming Like a Flower: Extended Version
1-3 Clock Hours
Children have many of the same characteristics and needs seeds have. This musical presentation compares
seeds to children. It's so crucial to have a foundation of love that will not only cultivate the hearts and minds
of children, but will also promote LOVE. Being rooted in the foundation of love enables us to water others
with kindness, patience, encouragement and LOVE. The listener is given ways to water themselves and
encouraged to prioritize children. Songs and tools that promote character development and smooth
transitions are also introduced during this session. When children feel needed they become more courageous
and add more colorful flowers to our world!
